Implement by implement
| Implement | Job | What it needs from the tractor |
|---|---|---|
| Rotary tiller (rotavator), 3 ft | Seedbed preparation, mixing soil | PTO drive, three-point hitch, the most power of any job here |
| Multi-tine cultivator, 5 tines | Loosening soil and weeding between rows | Three-point hitch, draft; no PTO |
| Orchard air-blast sprayer, 200–300 L | Canopy spraying in citrus, mango, pomegranate | PTO for the blower and pump; low steady speed, which suits electric drive |
| HTP sprayer | High-pressure spraying in field crops and orchards | PTO-driven piston pump |
| Reaper | Cutting standing crop at harvest | Front or rear mount depending on model; PTO |
| Flail mower | Grass and residue in orchard lanes | PTO; steady torque at low speed |
| Agricultural trailer, 0.5–1 t | Hauling produce and inputs | Drawbar or tow hitch; braking on slopes |
Why electric drive suits PTO work
Sprayers, mowers and tillers want a constant PTO speed while the ground speed varies. An electric motor holds speed under changing load without the lag of a diesel engine coming back onto power, so the blower or rotor runs evenly and the controller simply draws more current when the soil gets heavier.
Matching implement width to the tractor
A 3 ft working width matches the WB range's track and power and fits between orchard rows. Wider implements draw more power per pass and shorten battery hours; narrower ones waste passes. For inter-row work, match the implement to the row spacing first and the tractor second.
Swapping implements
Changing from a rotavator to a sprayer takes minutes with a Cat-1 linkage: lower the lift, unpin the lower links and top link, drive to the next implement, reverse the steps. The implement configurator on the implements page shows the hitch and the working position of each.
